The Yamaha YHT 1840 Home Theatre is the perfect solution for upgrading the traditional TV sound to high-quality TV sound, music, and movies with rich surround experience and make them much more entertaining. It supports the latest HDMI technology with 4K Ultra HD and HDR Video. The DSP Digital technology gives enhanced HD Audio effect (Dolby Audio, DTS–Digital Surround) providing proper sound balance and dialogue level adjustment. Yht-1840's 5.1 speaker surround sound channel configuration with a passive subwoofer is designed for cinema-quality excitement.
5.1 – Channel Powerful and Dynamic Surround System
Powerful and dynamic surround system is achieved by dolby atmos audio – digital plus, DTS (digital aurround), cinema DSP digital (dialogue, effect, dialog level adjustment, silent cinema or virtual cinema DSP technology.
Virtual Cinema DSP
Reproduces a virtual 5-channel surround sound filled with realism, with only two front speakers. With virtual cinema front, the users can enjoy virtual 5-channel surround sound with higher quality and resolution by installing surround speakers at the front.
Seamless Connectivity
The Yamaha YHT 1840 Home Theatre set supports connectivity between various devices with HDMI Input/output, HDMI CEC, and digital audio input/output: optical, digital audio input/output: coaxial, analog audio input/output, and headphone output.
Any Input Source
The scene button on the AV receiver can be used to select the input source and DSP mode. For this you have to press the scene button for more than three seconds. Any of the input sources like TV, FM Radio, CD or DVD can be selected.
Subwoofer Trim Control
The subwoofer trim control enhances the low frequencies by avoiding overlap with the front speaker output. This will result in a cleaner, more focused sound stage while providing seamless frequency response. Subwoofer trim provides a well-balanced enhanced bass sound.
Compressed Music Enhancer
Yamaha 1840 home theatre’s compmressed music enhancer feature adopts sophisticated digital signal processing algorithms to restore what was lost, so the music always sounds the way it should be in the natural form. It also facilitates adaptive dynamic range control.
