Yamaha NS-SW 100 is much smaller than I had anticipated. Functions flawlessly, and the power button is easily reachable. In the future, I believe I will choose one that turns on automatically with the system out of convenience, but it in no way lessens the value of this one.

I received Yamaha NS100 as my birthday present which is very good quality speaker. I already have denon avr-1300w, it roars and thunders. Half of the time, i have to keep the volume of subwoofer till half. You should definitely go for sw100 Yamaha.

A: The Yamaha NS-p40 speaker contains a six-inch subwoofer with five tweeters. Whereas the Ns SW-100 is an individually sold 8-inch subwoofer.

Whereas the frequency response of SW-50 is 28hz and SW-100 is 20hz. So, basically, if you need deep bass then opt for SW-100 else SW-50 is sufficient for an average 140-150 sq feet room size.
