I received a very recently manufactured product. It works smoothly on my Surveillance system in the apartment and does not get heated up. It fits perfectly in the DVR and needs to additional installation. It runs at 5400 RPM and is very efficient at recording CCTV footage. Happy with the purchase.

Previously I never used any Western Digital product and this is my first one. Honestly I am very impressed by its performance. It records high quality CCTV footage with ease and has no heating issues. I have been using it in my house which has 10 CCTV cameras connected to the system and the Hard Drive captures footage from all the 10 devices with no frame drops or interruptions. This is an amazingly advanced device by Western Digital.

I have been using this hard drive for 8 months now. Surprisingly I have faced no issues from my side. It works the same as it worked on the first few days. No heating issues and no frame drops while recording. This is definitely a long term investment even after using it on a regular basis. It is the backbone of my surveillance system.

I was carried away by the other brands Hard Drive in the market but this one definitely stands out. This Hard Drive has the high resolution video which I liked personally. It has 1TB of storage which has served the purpose for me. The build quality is also impressive as it didnt break when it fell from my hand from a distance of about 2 feet. This is definitely the best Hard Drive in this price range.
