The Archer C6 has a hell lot of features, starting from the dual bandwidth support to the firewall security it can give you. certified buyer The Archer C6 is one of the best routers and the best in this budget. I bought it during the sale days for the new connection since my old router was a bit slow. The speed and the performance, especially from the 5 GHz band has been nothiing short of great. The 2.4 Ghz band does the great work as usual, all thanks to the multiple antennas it has. The internal Qualcomm chipset allows it to work smoothly and hassle free and support multiple device with ease.

certified buyer The Archer C6 provides you with a reliable net connection and a good connectivity if you have a good ISP in your area. The Archer is better than most of the routers the ISP provides you with as it comes with the dual band support for both speed and a better range. The speed is great however, I felt the range could have been better since there are 5 antennas to deal with such thing. The beamforming feature will help those who are using the Wi-Fi router for the first time.

The 4 external and one internal antennas combine to give you both external connectivity and a speed which is great (I usually get about 75 Mbps on 100Mbps connection speed, which is great considering the budget of the device). Plus, you can set it into Access point just by a button click. And this device can support about 6 to 7 devices without causing any problems.

certified buyer What I liked the most about the device is neither the performance, nor the connectivity, but the price tag that it comes with. Under this amount, it is easy to cancel out some mistakes from the device. But Archer C6 have some issues. Firstly, the device has a great 5 GHz bandwidth, but not so great 2.4 GHz bandwidth. The beamforming works well for a some device, not so well for smartphones. The app also sometimes crashes abruptly. The security on the router is great. Overall, you will be satisfied with the purchase if you have a tight budget and live in not so large homes.

The antennas, both external and internal are great and can also be used for connecting NAS, if you have one.
