Product features

Lewitt LCT-640 Designed and engineered in Austria, the LCT 640 TS will revolutionize the way we think about the recording process. Since the signal of the front and back diaphragm is provided by independent circuitries, any kind of polar pattern can be realized dynamically – even after the recording. Lewitt Audio have become a serious force to be reckoned with in the professional microphone market, having developed an extensive range of microphones for high-quality recording, lct live-sound condenser microphone , and other applications.

The LCT640 TS by lewitt provides the signal of the front and the back capsule separately. In addition to your standard XLR cable plug in the included mini 3-pin XLR and experience all the possibilities of this true next-gen microphone. Use both outputs to capture the whole session instead of committing to a single source.

Your two-output mic for endless possibilities

Your two-output mic for endless possibilities

Its full, crisp, yet well-balanced sound works on any source. Use the lewitt Dual Output Mode to record on a stereo track. Now you can create any polar pattern in the mix with our POLARIZER plugin, even after recording. Of course, it also plays in the top league if you use it in a classic way - no matter what you record. The high-end components and cutting-edge design join forces to redefine your recording experience.

High flexibility

One microphone for precise vocal and instrument recording. The LCT 640 TS works as a traditional multi-pattern microphone, a stereo microphone, and a mic that can change the polar pattern after the fact. Revolutionary Dual Output Mode

Revolutionary Dual Output Mode

It changes the way we think about the recording process. To give you more freedom, the LCT640 by lewitt microphoneTS features a Dual Output Mode. Engage it, and you'll send the front and the back of the capsule's diaphragm to two individual outputs. This allows for stereo recording and changing the polar pattern after the fact. which is very good (and more than most 24-bit converters), but still roughly 12dB less than the standard LCT-640 version.

POLARIZER plugin to create any pattern in the mix

POLARIZER plugin to create any pattern in the mix

You can conveniently change and fine-tune your material recorded via Dual Output Mode. We created a plugin, called the POLARIZER. It allows to set the polar pattern dynamically. Now you can add or subtract room sound in post-production during mixing. By automating the POLARIZER, you can even create unique mixes and effects. The Lewitt microphonelogo is normally illuminated white when the mic is powered and operating in this standard mode.

Dual Outputs

Dual Outputs

The LCT-series microphone can be used in exactly the same way as its excellent sibling, and it still makes a very versatile and high-quality, general-purpose, studio mic. But it is the provision of separate outputs for the front and rear diaphragms that obviously sets this TS version apart and brings a whole raft of new possibilities. a polarity reversal switch on at least one of the channels, and a mixing bus.

Perfect Match technology

Perfect Match technology

Any two LC-T640 TS will always form a matched pair. Every single LCT640 TS undergoes a series of measurements followed by adjustment of the polarization voltage to achieve exactly the same sensitivity in every microphone. Usually, mid side stereophony can only be done with two microphones. But now, it is way easier to use one LCT640-TS. Just point the side of the microphone to the signal source and record both outputs on a stereo track in your DAW.

Best Product
Kashish kumar | certified buyer
I got this because I needed a single lct-640 microphone that worked well in a multitude of situations, and this product exceeded my expectations well. I have been using it for more than a year now, mainly to record samples to be processed and destroyed with the computer, and I am fully satisfied with it.

Amazing Product
Ashutosh | certified buyer
Great features, in the best sense a sound-neutral, fine-grained microphone. Good price / performance ratio. The possibility of stereo recording is nice. In order to intensify the spatial information in the center of the stereo image, an additional microphone is recommended, for example the 440 Pure from the same company. I now own several Lewitt-640 products and I have to say that I am very impressed by the quality and price / performance ratio on offer.
