When the vinyl reaches the conclusion of playback, the S-shaped tonearm mechanically lifts and stops the platter. 33 1/3 rpm, 45 rpm, or 78 rpm recordings are supported by a weighted, belt-driven platter with a precision that is true to the original recording.
