The SQ 7 digital mixer, from Allen & Heath is known for its XCVI 96kHz FPGA audio engine offering a range of live sound mixing capabilities. Despite its processing power the SQ 7 maintains notch audio quality with minimal latency of under 0.7ms. It provides flexibility for creating monitor mixes supporting up to 12 stereo mixes (groups or auxiliaries) along with the LR output. Additionally it features eight FX engines that deliver high quality effects and dedicated returns. With a 32 x 32 USB audio interface and convenient controls for mixing the Allen & Heath SQ 7 is a choice, for music events, worship services and educational settings.

From the start the SQ 7 digital mixer provides 48 input channels. There are 33 faders, for mixing organized into six fader layers to handle bigger mixes efficiently. Additionally the SQ 7 includes an SLink port, for audio and expansion purposes. Moreover it comes equipped with a 64 channel I/O port that is all set for network audio integration.

Creating multitrack recordings is easy, with the Allen & Heath SQ 7 thanks to its integrated 32 x 32 USB audio interface. Sweetwater engineers also find it handy for recording to a USB drive. Additionally there's a 64 channel I/O port for network audio connections and an SLink port, for expanding audio and I/O capabilities.
SQ comes with world class FX
SQ comes equipped with 8 stereo effects engines. Includes the regarded Rack Extra collection, which offers reproductions of iconic vintage reverbs, gated reverbs, delays, modulators and additional effects.
Each engine also has its stereo return path allowing you to leverage all 48 input channels without any restrictions.
SQ7 powerful processing
Each input includes a high pass filter (HPF) a gate, with sidechain and filter a 4 band parametric equalizer with real time analysis (RTA) and a Peak/RMS compressor for adjusting and shaping levels and transients.
Mixes come equipped with both an equalizer and a 28 band graphic EQ along, with a compressor that can be activated as needed.
