The Polk Audio TL1600 Home Theater System is a compact 5.1 channel system with four similar satellite speakers for front and surround channels, one center channel, and one powered subwoofer for low frequencies. The front and surround features four identical TL1 satellites arranged vertically, with a highly distinctive curved cabinet design developed by Polk Audio. This creates a very distinct visual look, minimizes audio coloration from internal surface resonances, and fixes to create a stiffer case. 


An all-around high-gloss 'Blackstone' finish gives the speaker a beautiful glossy look, and the front features a removable black fabric grille that covers and protects the drivers. On the back, there's a keyhole bracket that allows you to mount the speaker to the wall, and TL1600 Polk Audio uses 5-way binding posts instead of cheap spring terminals for cable connections.

Composing this survey after close to 12 months with this framework. I was searching for something to assist the unfortunate sound of my television. I picked this framework fundamentally because of cost and the reality I have never been frustrated with Polk speakers. I am content with this framework. The quality is fine. I have had none of the referenced issues in different remarks - unfortunate connectors, blown speakers and so on… . I am running this framework off a Yamaha RX-V4A and together I am exceptionally content with the sound. I really do have one problem and that is the controlled sub makes a murmur while the framework is off. While it is on you will not hear it however when it is off it is extremely irritating. There is a change to switch it now and again however that somewhat sucks to need to do. I purchased a smart plug that works with Alexa and verbally switch the sub now and again when I need it. Other than that exceptionally content with the framework.

The TL1600 subwoofer had significantly more hookup and change highlights than the Yamaha. The TL1600 can be viable with pretty much any framework that the Yamaha could not be. Likewise the TL1600 coming up short on boominess of the Yamaha YST-SW012 subwoofer and was significantly more melodic importance it is bass notes were more expressive where they were not tangled together. The TL1600 subwoofer went no lower in recurrence than the Yamaha YST-SW012 subwoofer yet gave the impression it did as mid to bring down bass was simpler to hear as it was not eclipsed by high bass.

The TL1600 (TL1) speakers sound perfect, as great as my Limitlessness Reference RS1 shelf speakers in my primary framework. Subsequent to putting the Polk TL1 speakers on top of the amusement place, I saw that their imaging and soundstage was excellent and risen to my bigger Vastness Reference RS1 shelf speakers on my super home theater framework. The Boundlessness speakers are stronger than the Polk TL1 (fundamental satellite speakers) yet they have a 5-1/4 inch woofer so I would with the exception of that much. I passed judgment on the Polk TL1s to have a genuine responsiveness of around 85 or 86 db at 1 meter with 2.83 volts. Polk rates them at 89 db however they are not so clearly. The TL1 Center speaker is around 89 decibels however it has two 2-1/2 woofer went against to the TL1 satellite speakers one 2-1/2 inch woofer.

They are very greatly built and the sound is very great. Presumably would go better in a more modest room, however, for my motivations, they are incredible. Voices are unmistakable when paying attention to motion pictures or broadcasters during sports. Gigantic bass out of this framework however it appears to do the work. I am running these through a Denon AVR-S710W recipient. I purchased these from Polk Audio as the industrial facility was revamped however they look new without any scratches or different imperfections. I have no bad things to say about these speakers. Great Buy from VPLAK.
