I like this smart fitness band with AMOLED display very much. It tracks daily step-count, heart rate, sleep habits, duration, etc very accurately. Also, I can separate the strap from the main body and change to different straps (a few color options online). The strap is made of high-quality silicone and imitates the watch-style. I checked that it is water-resistant and it worked well after handwash or showers. My daughter used it during swimming ( freestyle and butterfly strokes). It displayed the stroke count, swimming speed, distance covered, number of turns, calories used, etc amazingly correct. She was fully impressed with this product.

Honor Band 5 comes with a touchscreen that helps to move within the interface ( by swiping right to go back, tap to make a selection, etc). It tracks our activity and displays workout details, multiple sports modes ( Outdoor – running, walking, cycling, Indoor – running, walking, cycling, free training mode, etc). 5 levels of brightness are available on the band and a suitable brightness option can be chosen for outdoor. On a single charge, it supports up to 14 hours of battery life. It drives you to be active by a buzzing sound if we stay inactive for some time. This is a very good feature.

Huawei Health app is needed to pair the Honor Band 5 with a smartphone. The app is available for both Android 4.4 as well as iOS 9.0 and above. The pairing process is very easy. Once set up, the smartphone is capable of pushing notifications to the band. This app also shows you information such as the heart rate monitoring throughout (24x7), and how long youve slept. The Health app uses Huawei Trusleep algorithms for tracking and Artificial Intelligence-driven algorithms to give you correct readings. This band also utilizes Infrared technology to monitor heart rate consistently at night. The Honor Band 5 not only shows the duration of your sleep but also breaks it down into Deep Sleep, Light Sleep, REM sleep, and Awake periods. For this, it uses ROM, RAM & Flash memory to collect and analyze data. Consolidating everyday sleep habits, it provides over personalized suggestions or tips for better sleep.

Reminders can be set ( regarding meetings, functions, etc). The smart band also has a vibrating alarm function to wake you up. Finding Phone Using Band feature is also incorporated and the connected phone will respond instantly. It works well with iPhone, Android Phones, etc. You can take selfies and group photos conveniently by simply raising your wrist. Remote Picture Taking using the camera is Supported only on phones running EMUI 8.1 or later.

Buy this band if you need better accuracy than the Xiaomi band. Pedometer and heart rate monitor are awesome, very very accturate. Bought mi band 4 and returned it as it was showing wrong numbers. The music controls are also good.

Nice product. I have been using honor band for the last 3 years, so I am a honor fan. Cons: not a lot of band faces available. Band strap could be better quality Pros: Looks nice in my hands. Touch is smooth. Functions readings are also accurate.
